The two puppies were confused and very frightened

No dog should suffer at the hands of unscrupulous individuals, but there is a truth in between that tells us that certain people are insensitive and have a tremendous capacity to harm the most helpless.

takis Shelter, a dedicated animal lover, asked a small town for help. This still-unidentified, to assist a puppy in poor circumstances, a few months old, roaming the streets utterly disoriented and begging for a loving gesture.

Fortunately, his torment was ended by the intervention of the rescuers, who had no idea that their rescue mission would be twofold. The dog was totally drenched and terrified.Takis and his assistant wanted to track down the source of the second puppy’s cry after hearing it. They were surprised to find a puppy inside a large blue barrel; he was terrified and drenched from the previous day’s rain.Whoever abandoned it clearly intended for it to sink in the barrel. Fortunately, it had holes that prevented the water from being stagnant, giving the helpless puppy a chance to live. He was frail and on the brink of hypothermia in dogs.He was, however, very tired and in shock, and he had been through too much in such a short time. Takis ordered his assistant to wear gloves in case the dog attacked; understandably, he fought back and bit off his rescuer’s gloves.

He was able to extract it with great care and transfer it to the cage where the first rescued puppy was. They only had one cage and had to share it; thankfully, neither puppy attacked the other. The two puppies were befuddled and terrified.Both dogs were taken to a shelter. The first rescued puppy surrendered more quickly to his rescuers’ care; the second, on the other hand, refused to leave the corner. His caregivers began to speak to him with words of encouragement and love, which helped to alleviate his traumatized past. Alpha and Zeta were the names given to the puppies.

Takis and his team refused to give up. They were confident that they could assist the puppy and gain his trust. It took a long time, but the effort was well worth it in the end. The abandoned puppy in the barrel grew to trust the humans and started to react to any loving gesture. Surprisingly, he was joined by his rescue companion, with whom he shared a blanket and spent the remainder of the day snuggling.

This cute furry pair now not only enjoys caring for their rescuers, but they still have each other. Takis and his entire team deserve our gratitude for this amazing mission. There is still more work to be done, but we are hopeful that more people will join us in this noble cause every day.
