We
are all familiar with a doggy horror story or two — times where owners have let their dogs down in their time of need, whether that be through serious acts of neglect or abandonment, the circumstances are always heartbreaking.
With stories like these constantly being reported it is often easy to forget the millions of amazing dog moms and dads out there who are doing an incredible job loving their babies. So even though we can’t guarantee you won’t shed a tear reading Kanes’ story we can at least promise it will be in a good way.
After many hours spent researching and a slew of pain medication that in the end didn’t work well enough, they stumbled across water therapy.
With nothing to lose and Kanes’ life on the line his owner took Kane to a local pool for an assisted swim and immediately saw a change in him.
The dog who had been suffering from acute chronic pain was suddenly pain-free due to the weightlessness effect water has on the body and after a few sessions in the pool, the miraculous happened, Kane started to walk again!
In the heartwarming video uploaded on YouTube by Kanes owner found at the footer of the aricle, we see Kane walking again with little help from doggy mobility equipment and even on his own!
Congratulations to Kane on his recovery and kudos to this doggy dad who refused to give up on his good boy!
