When she saw that it was a little black dog, she was horrified.
Here is the tale of a good Samaritan who, in actuality, happened to be at the right place at the right moment.
Malissa Sergent Lewis was unlucky enough to cross a road while traveling to her job in Kentucky. As she was approaching a black garbage bag in the center of the road, she was shocked to see that it was moving as she got closer!
“ I saw this trash bag in the road, and I allowed to myself,‘ Did I just see that bag move?’The near I got, I realized it was moving,” she explained in a story by the Dodo. “ I could hardly wrap my mind around that. Commodity was alive in that bag, and I just knew I had to get whatever it was out.”
When she pulled over to probe the trash bag, (which was rather parlous, considering it could ’ve been a wild beast stuck outside,) she was shocked to discover that it was a little black pup!
Not only that, but the dog’s collar gave the impression that he had a previous owner. This dog was purposefully bagged and d.u.m.p.e.d.
Lewis brought the puppy home and shared a photo of him on social media in case his owner may come forward and claim him—the dog might have been taken.
Usually, not a bone makes a sound. Hefty, the tiny Joe, joined the Lewis household and was a happy and healthy member.
We’re overjoyed to learn that this nice woman chose to pause and investigate this garbage bag. Now that Hefty is in his forever home, it was meant to be! ..
